Written by engineers as a starting point for an attorney, not by an attorney. It reflects how the product actually works, which is the useful half of the job — but it has not been reviewed for enforceability, jurisdiction, or consumer-protection law anywhere. Do not launch against it.

RankVault provides search-engine rank tracking, AI-assisted content research and drafting, and a marketplace where publishers offer sponsored link placements. You need an account to use it, and you must be at least 18.
Everything in RankVault is paid for in credits. There are two kinds and they behave differently, which matters more than it might sound:
Purchased credits are bought with a card. They are prepaid, non-refundable service credits. They can be spent on any feature. They are not money, not a deposit, not a stored-value instrument, and cannot be withdrawn as cash. They do not expire while your account is active.
Earned credits come from selling placements in the marketplace. These are the only credits that can leave the platform, via Stripe Connect, above a minimum balance and less a conversion spread disclosed at the time of cashout.
We may refund purchased credits at our discretion where they have not been spent. Once credits have been consumed, the service they paid for has been delivered.
When you buy a placement you are contracting with the publisher, not with us. We verify that a link went live, matches the anchor text ordered, and carries the rel attribute ordered — and we hold your credits in escrow until it does. We do not warrant that a placement will produce any ranking outcome, and no one can.
Link attributes are your choice and your responsibility. Publishers declare which attributes they accept; buyers choose from that set. Search engines have their own guidelines about paid links, and complying with them — including any disclosure those guidelines require — is a decision each party makes for itself.
You may not use RankVault to create content for, or list sites in, the categories we publish as prohibited. These currently include gambling, pharmaceuticals, adult content, counterfeit goods, crypto investment schemes and essay mills. The list is enforced automatically at both listing creation and content generation, and can change.
Either party to an order may open a dispute. We review the order timeline, the automated verification results and both parties’ history, and may rule for the buyer, for the publisher, or split the escrowed amount. Every ruling includes a written rationale sent to both sides.
Our ruling is final as to the escrowed credits. It does not stop either party pursuing the other elsewhere; it only settles what we are holding.
Do not: use another person’s Search Console data without authorisation; create multiple accounts to evade limits; attempt to access other customers’ data; resell raw provider data; or use the API in ways that degrade the service for others.
We may suspend an account for breach of these terms, non-payment, chargeback fraud, or where required by law. Suspension blocks sign-in and pauses scheduled jobs; it does not delete data.
You may close your account at any time. Purchased credits are forfeited on voluntary closure. Earned credits are not — they are a debt we owe you, and we will settle them before the account is removed.
Rank, volume and backlink figures come from third-party providers and from your own Search Console. They are estimates that disagree with each other and with the search engines themselves. We present them as supplied and do not warrant their accuracy.
Attorney review required. Limitation of liability, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, governing law and dispute-resolution provisions belong here and have been deliberately left blank. Boilerplate copied from another company’s terms is often unenforceable in your jurisdiction and can be worse than silence.
We will give notice of material changes by email and in the product before they take effect. Continuing to use RankVault after that constitutes acceptance.
